New Here?

We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it's like. So we've provided the information below, knowing that it's easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

Walking in the door

When you walk in the door of Grace Church we want you to feel welcome and supported. If you need any assistance or have any questions, feel free to ask any of the greeters. They can provide more information, help with your children or other needs, or guide you to the proper location. Alternatively, you might feel more comfortable "just looking around". Either way, we want you to feel welcome to Grace!

Teaching

We strive to consistently teach the Word in a way that allows it to speak for itself, exposing you to its truth and encouraging you to dig deeper beyond our Sunday morning encounters. We spend much of their time trying to unearth the meaning that the divine Author of Scripture originally intended in a specific passage in the Bible, then connect the dots to our lives in 21st century America.

We usually spend several weeks in each teaching series, either walking through a book of the Bible or building a Biblical perspective on a certain topic.

Music

We believe that music is an important tool that helps us ascribe worth to God. It also prepares us to listen to Him as we study the Word. Christian songwriters of every generation have added stylistic and literary distinctives to church music, unified in their worship of God while separated by cultural change.

As a result, a typical Sunday includes modern worship songs from today’s writers and some of the best historical works of the church.

Sunday Mornings

Grace Church is a small church of about one hundred people. Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. We are excited for change and growth as we anticipate a new building, as Kennesaw State University expands around us, and as the Big Shanty Road expansion connects the east & west sides of Cobb County.

You'll find we dress in everything from casual clothes to business suits in our Sunday Morning services. Feel free to dress in a way that works for you.

Our desire in fellowship is to worship God and to love each other. We hope your visit draws you closer to God and that you might consider Grace Church as your church home.
